Co-President Tony Lyons opened by outlining the MAHA Institute’s core goals.
“I've known Bobby Kennedy for more than fifteen years.”
“I have no doubt whatsoever that he was put on this planet to do the work that he's doing now.”
“The MAHA movement has the ability to set up a system where we can really be a city on a hill.”
“We can really be the kind of country that we all want it to be, and we can protect our children.”
“That's what we're gonna do as the MAHA Institute.”
“We're gonna be an incubator for ideas, for policies that really impact the American people.”
“The MAHA movement is really about mothers.”
“It's about mothers wanting to take care of their children, and they see that their children have been poisoned.”
“Half the children in The United States have a chronic disease. That has to change.”
“This is the time to address them.”
Co-President Mark Gorton followed, sharing the origins of the MAHA Institute.
“The MAHA Institute is born out of the MAHA Movement, which comes from Bobby Kennedy's campaign for President.”
“All of us here are used to how government in America typically runs, where the large corporate interests dominate the system and they control the outcomes of our government.”
“There have been people around the country who have been fighting this for years against enormous odds.”
“And now through really one of the most inspiring movements in American history, all of these people around the country have coalesced into the MAHA movement, which carried Donald Trump into office and Bobby Kennedy into the leadership of HHS.”
“The MAHA Institute is serving the function of helping to coordinate and channel the energy of all of these people around the country and connect them with people in government.”
Calley Means spoke next, explaining how MAHA is striking fear into DC lobbyists.
“We're on the precipice now of being able to have an adult conversation about the facts.”
“It's shocking to me how many lobbyists come in, and they're not lobbying for policy.”
“They're saying it's gonna scare the American people to get facts out.”
“They're putting so much pressure on President Trump and so much pressure on Secretary Kennedy to not release facts about these foundational factors that are impacting our metabolic health.”
“The statement from the administration is we are going to have a discussion about facts.”
“We are gonna get the facts on the table.”
“We are gonna change the world.”
Mary Holland of Children’s Health Defense followed, emphasizing how MAHA is finally giving a voice to those silenced for years.
“I've been in this movement more than 20 years and we have all been waiting for this moment and it is momentous.”
“Children are the most vulnerable in any society.”
“Babies can't talk. Children can't vote. To go to school, they have to be subjected to all kinds of rules. They can't contribute to candidates. They are truly our most vulnerable citizens.”
“I believe that we as adults have a responsibility to our children.”
“To nurture the next generation and to smooth the path for them.”
“I believe that together, we can make it happen.”
Zen Honeycutt of Moms Across America spoke about how, for the first time, an administration is finally addressing the critical issues raised by people like her for years.
“We’re been silenced, we’ve been vilified, and the pushback is all because the government of previous administrations has been hiding critical information that we could use to protect our children and to have our families be healthier again.”
“We have been deeply betrayed by previous administrations.”
“As a former lifelong Democrat come Independent who voted Republican, I am very proud of this current administration and what is happening in America today.”
“Finally, there's an investigation on the cause of autism.”
“Operation Stork Speed is exposing and focusing on baby formula.”
“They're removing food dyes, which is historic.”
“They're looking at glyphosate in vaccines after 9 years of submitting that information to our CDC and FDA.”
“We are at a critical point in history.”
“We mothers are calling on every Republican and Democrat to Make America Healthy Again and to stop accepting the pressure from the corporations.”
