Calvin Robinson’s supposed new church is… schizo to say the least. Let’s look at some of the strange things going in the Old Dominion Eparchy and the churches in communion with it. 1/

Robinson was allegedly received into the Eparchy by bishop Nectarios Victory, who is not listed on the website of the Eparchy as a bishop. This is the website: olddominioneparchy.org/links/

Curiously linked at the bottom of one page is a larger synod which the Eparchy is a part of, which calls itself the Orthodox Church of America (OCA-UAOC).

This group was at one point an old calendarist group, which switched over to the new calendar, and claims to be affiliated with the ecumenical patriarch.

Now it is highly unlikely that there is any such affiliation, but there is more. This church actively ordains women to the office of deaconess, which they consider to be sacramental and identical with the diaconate.

They also have a lot of highly suspect, obviously photoshopped pictures of their bishops on the website, with some examples linked below.

Not only that, but they have canonized a “saint” by the name of Thomas Alexander Eleftherion, a man who was born with Down syndrome and numerous other maladies and unfortunately passed away. They have photoshopped icons and venerate him officially.

These are just a few extremely weird and strange things about this church, which I thought you all would find interesting. If it is true that Calvin has been received into this church, we should all be extremely concerned.
