On Monday, Eric Coomer v. Mike Lindell kicks off in federal court in Colorado.

Last night on Why We Vote, @AsheinAmerica @NeilEJohnson and I took a trip down memory lane and revisited some of Ashe's previous writings about Coomer based on a NY Times article.

The following clips are mostly sourced from the NY Times article.

The first clip is a gem. Eric Coomer was a "skinhead" in the early 90s. His words. But he was a nice skinhead apparently. PROUD that he shaved his head or something? 🤷‍♂️

In this clip, @AsheinAmerica talks about Coomer's heroine use and how he, allegedly, stopped using.

TO BE CLEAR: If he actually kicked that habit, that is great for him!! However, having known MANY heroine addicts in my life, some dead, some now clean, you don't simply kick heroine after a week of staying at a friend's house.

BUT...lets give him the benefit of the doubt.

THIS CLIP IS EXTREMELY RELEVANT for the next one.

This is the most damning clip of the entire thread.

There is NO WAY ON EARTH that a company contracted with state and federal governments to produce *BLACK BOX* equipment to determine our elected leaders should not be thoroughly vetting all of their employees, nonetheless the guy in charge of programming it and, eventually, becoming the DIRECTOR OF PRODUCT STRATEGY AND SECURITY at Dominion Voting!!

And you're telling me they decided to go with the guy who three months earlier was in prison while detoxing from heroine and cocaine abuse!?!?

AND THEY 'COLD CALLED' HIM!?!?

This post is just to establish that what we are about to cover is, by Coomer's own words, "authentic" and "he believed every word of what he said"

These are the social media that get more and more unhinged as he goes.

**KEEP IN MIND** This is the guy that programmed election equipment for Sequoia, who was bought out by Dominion in 2010 (Thanks, Obama and Eric Holder), and then was the DIRECTOR OF PRODUCT STRATEGY AND SECURITY for Dominion Voting DURING THE TRUMP ELECTIONS.

He even goes as far as condemning Dominion (indirectly) if they don't support his positions on this and questions why he should continue to work for them.

If you're willing to quit over these values you feel so patiently about....what else would you be willing to do??

Look, I don't care what you do in your free time...but I think this adds a lot of context to his other posts and his mindset.

And given the woefully inadequate, likely non-existent, vetting that led to Coomer getting COLD-CALLED three months after getting out of prison and fresh off a heroine/cocaine addiction...

This is insane. But don't you dare ask to review Dominion's source code!!!

In 2020 at Hacker One Conference, Coomer acknowledges that ALL security vulnerabilities go through him.

And as a "security expert" he's kicking himself for "putting his faith in a notion of digital security" on Facebook.
