🚨 THREAD: GOP Senators FIRE BACK at Elon Musk’s threat to primary Trump allies over the Big Beautiful Bill
Trump wants his signature bill passed. Musk says: “Vote yes, and you're done.”
The Senate's response? 🔥Not exactly shaking.

2/ • Sen. Roger Marshall (KS):
“I’ll take President Trump’s endorsement over Elon’s any day of the week.”
“We’re ignoring him. Let’s get this bill across the finish line.”
3/ • Sen. Tommy Tuberville (AL):
“Bottom line — 51 of us are going to vote for this tonight.”
“I agree with Elon on energy innovation — but not on subsidies. Let the market work, like he did.”
4/ • Sen. Eric Schmitt (MO):
“Elon did an incredible thing with DOGE. I’ve got a ton of respect for that.”
“But everyone’s entitled to their opinion.”
5/ • Sen. Bill Hagerty (TN):
“By 2026, Americans will see the benefits — more growth, tax relief, revenue.”
“This bill opens the door to a new golden era, as President Trump likes to say.”
6/ • Sen. John Hoeven (SD):
“He didn’t like the bill — people get that. But we believe revenue growth and savings will reduce the deficit.”
7/ • Marshall again, on whether Elon’s threats matter politically:
“Haven’t given it a second thought.”
“Let’s figure out how to bring Elon back into the fold — he’s smart and adds value.”
8/ Meanwhile, Musk isn’t backing down:
“They voted for the biggest debt hike in history. They’ll lose their primaries — if it’s the last thing I do.”
9/ Trump’s response? Incendiary.
“DOGE is the monster that might have to go back and eat Elon. Wouldn’t that be terrible?”
And when asked if he’d deport Musk?
“We’ll have to take a look.”
10/ Let us all hope these two patch it up. The damage from an internal conservative civil war would be tremendous...and potentially hand victory to Democrats just like in 1912.
