This is Hermes Trismegistus.

Three unknown initiates would encode his teachings into The Kybalion.

Let's go down the rabbit hole of one of the most famous texts you probably haven't read...🧵

The Kybalion, published in 1908, distills Hermes' wisdom from the Emerald Tablets into 7 core principles.

These principles offer a framework for understanding the universe and our place in it.

The rabbit hole:

Principle 1: Mentalism -

"The All is Mind; The Universe is Mental."

This principle suggests that reality is fundamentally mental in nature...

Our desires are seeds and we are the gardener.

Desires are germinated by pouring our thoughts into them.

Every idea has the potential to grow into tangible reality.

But the rabbit hole goes deeper...

Principle 2: Correspondence -

"As above, so below; as below, so above."

From the subatomic to the cosmic, we see the same fundamental designs.

But more importantly...

It suggests that the microcosm of our inner Mental world reflects the macrocosm of the universe.

By understanding ourselves, we gain insight into the cosmos.

This leads us to a startling realization about the nature of existence itself...

Principle 3: Vibration -

"Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates."

This principle posits that everything in the material universe is in constant motion and vibrating at different frequencies...

The higher the vibration, the more solid the material appears.

The slower the vibration, the more gaseous.

These ancient alchemical states of matter were termed Earth, Water, Air and Fire.

Modern physics refers to these states as solids, liquids, gases, and plasma...

Principle 4: Polarity -

"Everything is dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites."

Hot and cold, light and dark, - these aren't separate phenomena, but different degrees of the same thing.

But how can we apply this?

By understanding this, we gain the power to transmute negative experiences into positive ones.

And we can learn to see the good in all things.

But life isn't just about extremes, it's also about...

Principle 5: Rhythm -

"Everything flows, out and in; everything has its tides; all things rise and fall."

From seasons to economic cycles to our own moods, everything moves in rhythmic patterns.

Eventually, rhythmic patterns synchronize and void each other, creating new ones.

Principle 6: Cause and Effect -

"Every cause has its effect; every effect has its cause."

This principle emphasizes the interconnectedness of all things.

It's not just about cosmic justice, though.

It's a call to action...

By understanding the chain of cause and effect, we gain the power to shape our destiny.

But to truly master this principle, we need to understand the final piece of the puzzle...

Principle 7: Gender -

"Gender is in everything; everything has its masculine and feminine principles."

This goes beyond biology.

-suggesting all things contain both active and receptive energies.

But how does this manifest in our lives?

Our thought PATTERNS (Latin pater = father) impregnate the MATERIAL world (from the Latin mater = mother) via action.

By balancing these energies within ourselves, we can harness the creative forces of the universe.

-enriching our creations and our lives...

These seven principles offer a holistic view of the universe.

-encouraging us to see beyond surface-level appearances and understand the deeper workings of reality.

But the true power of the Kybalion lies not just in understanding...

...but in application.

By internalizing these principles, we can gain the ability to:

• gain greater mastery over our lives
• transmute negative experiences
• align ourselves with the fundamental laws of the universe.

The question is...

Are you ready to see beyond the veil of ordinary reality and tap into the extraordinary potential that lies within you?

The choice, as always, is yours.

But remember...

As the Kybalion says:

"The lips of wisdom are closed, except to the ears of understanding."

The wisdom of the Kybalion is always available.

-awaiting those who are ready.

Are you? ...
