🔥 now is the easiest time to get a job.

That might sound crazy in a market full of layoffs, hiring freezes, and rejected applications. But it’s true - if (and only if) you’re not just using AI… but fluent in it. 🧵

We’re in the middle of a fundamental shift in how value is created.

Companies are overhauling roles, operating models, and expectations - and they’re no longer tolerating inefficiency.

Right now, there’s a massive gap between what companies need and what most candidates (and employees) can deliver when it comes to AI.

Too many still think AI fluency means “writing good prompts” or casually using ChatGPT.

But that’s just the surface.

Here’s what real AI fluency looks like today:
🔁 Automating repetitive tasks
🛠️ Setting up custom GPTs
🤖 Building with agents
🧭 Navigating the evolving AI ecosystem
🧠 Knowing when (and why) to apply the right AI tool

That kind of fluency gives you serious leverage.

And that edge won’t last. The gap is closing fast.

This moment is like playing blackjack and knowing when the deck is hot.

You’re counting cards while most others are just learning the rules.

When you’ve got the edge, you press harder - because that’s how outsized gains are made.

But the deck always resets.

Eventually, others catch on, the advantage shrinks, and the game gets tougher.

Soon, companies will have more AI agents than employees (we already do at @zapier).

And those employees? They’ll be operating at 10x productivity - making the job market even more competitive.

So yes... this is the easiest time to get hired…but only for those who’ve already upgraded to the new operating system of work.

Start now.

The window’s still open.
