Is that an F-16? And next to it — our new project.
The F-16 is the most advanced Western aircraft in this war. At the request of @DefenceU, and the support of @Ukrnafta_com, Come Back Alive developed, purchased, and handed over Ukraine's first mobile aircraft maintenance units to @KpsZSU.
This is Project 61.
In a real war, where the enemy targets both aircraft and airfields, the Ukrainian Air Force lacked mobility when it came to servicing both the F-16s and their ammunition.
What you see here is a unique, self-sufficient, and effective ecosystem built on real needs.
“Previously, it took 10 to 12 people to load a single munition. Thanks to this system, it can now be done by just three”, says Serhii, a representative of Office 61, which focuses on the development of state aviation.
So, here is what Project 61 consists of:
— a mobile mission planning unit for pre-flight briefings for pilots and aircraft support in close range;
— two aviation ordnance preparation complexes that accelerate the preparation and inspection of munitions, and also make it easier to mount them onto the aircraft.
Bringing this simple yet essential solution to life was made possible by Ukrnafta, which contributed ₴ 49,438,176.90.
This ecosystem incorporates cutting-edge European practices, is based on Ukraine‘s real needs, and helps Western aircraft unlock their full potential.
