🚨 Microsoft built “Windows 10 China Government Edition” in partnership with a sanctioned Chinese military proxy for use by the CCP.
It used the same security features and tech as the U.S. Department of Defense’s version of Windows.

The program was a joint venture with CETC, flagged by the DOD for collaborating with China’s People’s Liberation Army since 1999.
CETC was also blacklisted by the Commerce Department for building military islands in the South China Sea.
It’s a state-owned company.
Microsoft’s Executive VP even wrote a glowing blog post announcing the partnership:
Microsoft celebrated the fact that the U.S. Department of Defense uses the same operating system, despite obvious cyber and national security risks such technological similarities would pose.
