🚨 China is building a surveillance empire in Africa—using AI to hunt, jail, and kill political dissidents.

And they want to export it here.

Biden let them in.

Trump is slamming the gates shut. 🧵

2/ Beijing isn’t just exporting cheap gadgets anymore. It’s exporting totalitarianism.

They’re giving African dictators AI tools to:

Monitor protests
Track phones
Read social media "tone"
Disappear opposition leaders

This isn’t trade. It’s tyranny.

3/ They call it “surveillance colonialism.”

Instead of boots and bullets, it’s:

Biometric contracts
Facial recognition
Internet spying
Sentiment analysis

China supplies the tech. The dictators supply the repression.

4/ In Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, and Kenya, China’s AI is:

- Training cameras to target protesters
- Tracking journalists by phone
- Using skin-pigment data to improve facial recognition
- Sending data back to China for model refinement

Yes, really.

5/ In one case, 82 protestors in Kenya vanished.

29 are still missing.

They were identified using Chinese surveillance tools and location data from telecom companies—fed straight to police.

And the Chinese built the data centers behind it.

6/ In Zimbabwe, China helped build a surveillance network so precise, the government brags it can identify every demonstrator in real time.

The kicker?
It hasn't stopped a single actual crime.

Only democracy.

7/ Biden let Chinese firms grow their footprint across Africa and the U.S. He was pushing social media giants to impose de facto social credit scores.

They were building cloud services and backdoors into American infrastructure—until Trump stopped them.

8/ Trump is slamming the door on China's techno-authoritarianism, restoring energy, data, and infrastructure sovereignty—we're no longer renting tyranny from Beijing.

It’s not just about Africa.

It’s about freedom itself. 🇺🇸
