🚨BREAKING: Trump just rebalanced trade with the EU.

After decades of one-sided deals, Trump made Europe open its markets, buy $150B in U.S. energy, and invest $600B in America.

Even EU Commission President von der Leyen called it “heavy lifting.”

Here’s what just happened 🧵

2/ For decades, the U.S. got the short end of every EU trade deal.

• Our autos blocked, with tariffs 4X ours
• Our agriculture excluded
• Our trade deficit exploding

Europe lectured, regulated, and stonewalled.
Trump just ended that.

3/ Trump’s new deal sets a 15% flat tariff on autos and related goods—on both sides.

No more one-sided protectionism.
No more hiding behind “standards” to block U.S. products.

Trump said it plainly: “You weren’t exactly taking our orders or our agriculture. Now you will.”

4/ That’s just the start.

As part of the agreement, Europe will:

💥 Buy $150 billion of U.S. energy
💥 Invest $600 billion into the American economy

This is about jobs, factories, energy dominance, and reindustrialization.

5/ And it wasn’t easy.

Trump and von der Leyen said the deal came down to the wire—50/50 odds.

She agreed with Trump: the deal had to be done.

“We have a surplus. The U.S. has a deficit. We have to rebalance it.” – von der Leyen

6/ Make no mistake: this is Trump’s strategy in action.

🔁 No more global charity
📈 Fair, reciprocal trade
💼 America first—but not America alone

Europe doesn’t get a free ride anymore. They get a partner—or they get tariffs.

7/ This deal puts $750 billion to work for the U.S.—immediately.

And it opens European markets that have been closed for decades.

Trump got it done without begging, without a handout, and without apology.

Just like he did with China, Japan, et al.

8/ Energy is key.

Europe is dependent on imports—especially after cutting off Russian gas.

Now they’re buying $150B in American energy—supporting U.S. workers, U.S. LNG ports, and undermining Putin at the same time.

This is geopolitical judo.

9/ Meanwhile, $600B in investment is heading into the U.S.—not out.

Factories. Infrastructure. Energy. Tech.

Trump’s message is simple: “You want access to our market? Great. But you’re going to build here. With our workers.”

No tariffs on their goods produced here.

10/ This is how real diplomacy works, not the Democrat-RINO surrenders from before:

✅ Rebalancing trade
✅ Strengthening allies
✅ Weakening adversaries
✅ Growing the American economy

No wars. No lectures. No sellouts. No "chaos".

Just results.
