In the lap of the Trikuta Hills...

This thread will give you goosebumps!

An old couple, weak and childless, began the yatra to Maa Vaishno Devi. They had little strength, no food, and only faith in their hearts. Each step was a test, yet they whispered “Jai Mata Di” as their only support.

Midway up the steep path, their legs gave out. They sat under a tree, crying quietly. Hunger burned, but they had no money to buy food. With folded hands, they prayed from the heart, “Maa, let us see you once before we die.”

Suddenly, a little girl in red clothes appeared. She had glowing eyes, a kind smile, and unmatched grace. She gently said, “Dadi-Dada, eat this prasad,” and offered warm rotis and sweet halwa in banana leaves.

The food gave them strength they hadn’t felt in years. Tears filled their eyes. As they looked up to thank her, the girl was gone. Not a trace. No footsteps. Just silence filled with something divine.

When they reached Bhawan, they narrated this to a pujari. He smiled and folded his hands. “You are blessed. That little girl was none other than Maa Vaishno Devi. She walks the mountain to care for her true devotees.”

The old couple returned not with tired bodies, but glowing souls. They said, “We went up as weak pilgrims. We came down in the lap of our Mother.” Jai Mata Di

Some journeys are walked by feet, others by faith. That day, the mountain witnessed love between a mother and her children, a love beyond form, time, or logic. Such is the leela of Maa Vaishno Devi. 🌺✨ Jai Mata Di 🙏
