🚨 BREAKING: Trump’s DOJ just eliminated a 44-year-old race-based hiring decree.
For four decades, this racist mandate rigged federal hiring against merit and in favor of race discrimination.
Today, it’s DEAD.
This is a turning point. Here’s what it means 🧵
2/ In 1979, a lawsuit claimed that the federal hiring test—PACE—was racist.
So the Carter DOJ caved.
The U.S. government replaced merit-based exams with “Outstanding Scholar” and “Bilingual/Bicultural” racial preference hiring programs.
DEI's prototype was born.
3/ For 44 years, this decree forced a form of DEI into every federal department:
❌ Race-based preferences
❌ Discriminatory test reviews
❌ Massive compliance bureaucracy
❌ Handcuffed hiring managers
It distorted everything from OPM to NASA.
4/ Now it’s over.
DOJ just filed to end the Luevano decree, calling it:
“Flawed and outdated…
Draconian…
A barrier to hiring top talent.”
This is one of the biggest rollbacks of government racial bias in my lifetime.
5/ Assistant AG Harmeet Dhillon didn’t hold back:
“For over four decades, this decree has hampered the federal government from hiring the top talent of our nation.
"Today, the DOJ reopened federal employment opportunities based on merit—not race.”
🔥🔥🔥
6/ And that’s not all. Just days ago, DOJ warned:
If you receive federal funds and run DEI programs, you’re breaking the law.
That means:
— Universities
— Schools
— Contractors
— Nonprofits
It's about time we enforced the Civil Rights Act!
7/ This isn’t just red tape reform.
It’s civil rights restoration.
DEI has turned the Civil Rights Act upside down—substituting quotas for character, and grievance for greatness.
That era is ending. Trump is pulling it out by the roots.
8/ Democrats claimed DEI was about “equity.”
But it was always about power:
☑️ Racial gatekeeping
☑️ Bureaucratic control
☑️ Ideological purity tests
☑️ Race-based (Democrat-only) House seats
Trump’s DOJ just restored the law and thereby flipped the table.
