In 2020, Maryland paralegal and model Kristin Spealman told Daily Mail the two men had been hired “to dig up dirt on Maxwell’s alleged sex trafficking victims” and to get U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman fired “using Burkman’s supposed influence with Attorney General William Barr.”
Berman refused to resign, and the standoff led President Trump to formally fire and replace him. The House Judiciary Committee interviewed Berman. “The Attorney General said that if I did not resign from my position I would be fired,” he told them. abcnews.go.com/Politics/fired…
A lobbying registration form filed with the U.S. Senate by Burkman shows he and Wohl were hired by “Granite Realty LLC,” a common misspelling of Granite Reality. Property records show the New Hampshire house where Ghislaine was arrested was purchased by the LLC for $1.07mm.
The lobbyists told Spealman their smear targets included Epstein accusers Virginia Giuffre, Courtney Wild and Sarah Ransome. “I believed those girls, I felt like they were telling the truth. I was disgusted with the things [Wohl and Burkman] were telling me [to say].”
Spealman claimed Wohl and Burkman also asked her to make a public statement claiming to have had an affair with Senator Ted Cruz. She provided the script to the Daily Mail. The pair of lobbyists have also tried to smear Nancy Pelosi, Robert Mueller and others.

Investigative journalist Nick Monroe (@lobsterlooker) uncovered evidence of Jacob Wohl’s membership in the Tate brothers’ War Room, a private chat where Wohl boasted of his political manipulation campaigns. Monroe also connects Wohl to “conservative” activist Laura Loomer.

Former McBride Law Firm associate Paul Ingrassia revealed in his Substack that the firm organized a “congressional outreach campaign” on behalf of the Tate brothers. Ingrassia also organized the Tate bros’ interviews with Tucker Carlson in Romania in 2023. “To clear their names.”

AG Barr’s father Donald Barr was the headmaster of the elite NYC school that hired college dropout Epstein. Barr recused himself from investigating the Florida plea deal made by Alex Acosta, but he did not recuse himself from the SDNY case against Epstein.
