🚨 APPEALS COURT SLAPS DOWN OBAMA JUDGE

An Obama-appointed judge abused his power to threaten Trump officials with criminal contempt.

A federal appeals court just crushed him — and exposed his attack on presidential authority for what it is.

🧵👇

2/ Judge James Boasberg claimed Trump officials defied his order by deporting alleged gang members to El Salvador.

He launched contempt proceedings — even after SCOTUS threw out his order in a 5-4 decision.

3/ The D.C. Circuit ruled Boasberg had no authority to enforce the order.

Judge Neomi Rao:

“The district court used the threat of criminal contempt to coerce the Executive Branch… in the exercise of its foreign affairs power.”

Which is unconstitutional and an abuse of power.

4/ Judge Gregory Katsas warned Boasberg’s order would cause “grave conflicts” between the judiciary and the executive branch at the highest levels.

It even attempted to coerce the DOJ to bring known illegal aliens back into the U.S.

5/ Let that sink in:

A Democrat judge wanted to force Trump to import gang members against his will — or face criminal charges.

And this wasn’t hypothetical. Boasberg appointed a court attorney to prosecute Trump officials.

6/ The DOJ has now filed a misconduct complaint against Boasberg.

When unelected judges start wielding criminal contempt as a political weapon, they stop being neutral arbiters and start becoming part of the "resistance".

7/ Bottom line: The D.C. Circuit just sent a message — judges don’t run the country, presidents do.

Which is to say, the VOTERS do.

The Constitution gives the Executive the power to set foreign policy. And no activist judge gets to override that. 🇺🇸
