In the 2nd episode, (published in the 6th issue of the "Nawa-i-Ghazwa-e-Hind" magazine) Ustādh Abū Usāmah criticized the deviations of the rulers in Syria.

He argued that the solutions to the crises faced by Syrians can be found in al-Qāʿidah's message and methodology.

Continuing from his points in the previous episode, Ustādh Abū Usāmah stated that Jawlānī’s entrapment in the deceptive Zionist-Crusader agenda of “breaking ties with al-Qāʿidah” was a critical factor behind the deviations of the jihādī leadership in Syria.

Abū Usāmah reminded that the proposal to “break ties” was first put forward by the Base leadership, but with two conditions: i) that the Syrian mujahideen remain united, and ii) that an Islamic government be established in Syria with the people choosing an Imam.

He also asserted that the spread of the brutal "Bucca-Saydnaya" mindset was another major reason behind the methodogical deviations of the new Syrian leadership.

Refuting the anti-AQ arguments of Syrian liberals, Ustādh Abū Usāmah stated that the liberation of Damascus strengthened his commitment to global jihād and that al-Qāʿidah never intended to turn Syria into a base for global jihād under the present circumstances.

He emphasized that the Syrian revolution has not achieved complete success and criticized HTS leaders for not confronting the remaining occupying powers in Syria.

He also argued that it is "questionable" to describe the jihād led by HTS as a “local regional jihād”.

Ustadh Abū Usāmah strongly criticized the new Syrian rulers for seeking to emulate the humiliating model of Saudi kings.

He further accused them of suffering from a “Jālūt Complex”.

Ustādh Abū Usāmah: "Surely, time will compel all those who are sincerely working for the rise of Islam to accept al-Qāʿidah’s message and methodology, but it does not necessarily mean that they will all join al-Qāʿidah or become part of its branches."

Ustādh Abū Usāmah concluded this second episode of the interview series by briefly explaining al-Qāʿidah's history and Jihādi methodology.
