🧵 Who destroyed America’s hard-won progress on race?
Three words: Barack Hussein Obama.
Here’s how he took a nation moving toward unity—and drove it back into division. 🧵👇
2/ By the early 2000s, America was closer than ever to being truly post-racial.
Opportunities were open. Hard work, not skin color, defined success. Schoolkids got along and dated each other.
Then Obama came to power—and lit a match under old grievances.
3/ Case #1: The New Black Panther Party.
Caught on video intimidating voters in Philadelphia.
DOJ had a strong case.
Eric Holder, Obama’s AG, dropped it.
Message: racial favoritism > equal justice.
4/ Case #2: The “Beer Summit.”
Henry Louis Gates vs. a white cop.
No evidence of racism—just a heated arrest.
Obama declares police “acted stupidly,” turning a local spat into a national racial incident.
5/ Case #3: Trayvon Martin.
Media edited tapes to frame it as racism.
Obama: “If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon.”
Evidence didn’t back him up. Martin attacked Zimmerman, who was acquitted. DOJ declined hate-crime charges.
But the racial narrative was weaponized.
6/ Case #4: The “Clock Boy” stunt.
Student brings suspicious device to school.
Obama immediately elevates it as “Islamophobia.”
The signal was clear:
👉 Always assume America is guilty of bigotry.
7/ For 8 years, Obama pushed the same line:
🇺🇸 America is systemically racist.
👮 Police are inherently biased.
⚖️ Minorities are always victims.
Facts didn’t matter. The narrative did. Because happy people who get along don't vote to "fundamentally transform America".
8/ Result?
🔻 Trust in law enforcement eroded.
🔻 Racial tension escalated.
🔻 Division and resentment grew.
By 2016, America was more divided by race than it had been since before I was born.
That’s Obama’s true legacy.
9/ Racial unity was within reach.
But Barack Obama chose his Socialist politics over peace.
History won’t remember him as America’s healer—
but as the president who made race his weapon.
