🚨 URGENT: Apple just dropped an emergency iPhone update after admitting hackers are exploiting a “sophisticated attack.”

If you own an iPhone or iPad, this is serious. Here’s what you need to know 🧵👇

2/ Apple CONFIRMS:

⚠️ Hackers are using a flaw to target specific people
⚠️ A single malicious image file can hijack your phone
⚠️ Attackers can run their own code in your system

This isn’t theoretical. It’s happening now.

3/ The flaw impacts:

📱 iPhone XS & later
📱 iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad 7th gen & later
📱 iPad Mini 5 & later

You need to update to iOS 18.6.2 and iPadOS 18.6.2 IMMEDIATELY.

(Fortunately, it's a pretty quick update.)

4/ Cybersecurity firm MalwareBytes warns:

👉 Hackers can corrupt memory
👉 Crash processes
👉 Insert malicious code with permissions you should NEVER allow

Translation: They can take over your phone.

5/ How to update:

➡️ Go to Settings > General > Software Update
➡️ Install iOS 18.6.2 (or 17.7.10 for older models)
Mac:
➡️ Apple Menu > System Settings > General > Software Update

Don't wait. Do it NOW.

6/ Bottom line:

💻 Update your Apple devices ASAP
🔐 Protect your privacy
