🧵 2. Kristi Noem gave a statement on the release of Abrego Garcia to @BreannaMorello.
"Activist liberal judges have attempted to obstruct our law enforcement every step of the way in removing the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens from our country. Today, we reached a new low with this publicity hungry Maryland judge mandating this illegal alien who is a MS-13 gang member, human trafficker, serial domestic abuser, and child predator be allowed free.
By ordering this monster loose on America's streets, this judge has shown a complete disregard for the safety of the American people. We will not stop fighting till this Salvadoran man faces justice and is OUT of our country."
🧵3. Pam Bondi alleged in a press conference that Abrego Garcia solicited nude photos from a minor and that he participated in the m*rder of a rival gang member’s mother.
Remember: When Abrego Garcia was taken into custody in 2019 - which resulted in his detention, denial of bail, remaining in custody for approximately six months, denial of asylum, denial of his CAT claim, etc. - it was for suspicion of his involvement in a m*rder.
🧵4. Abrego Garcia and his wife were married while he was incarcerated for his immigration hearing in 2019.
Shortly after he was released from custody is the first documented time he abused his wife.
She filed two protective orders; the first protective order she didn’t show up to court (2020), the second was granted (2021).
Read these reports.
Check out my other posts on Abrego Garcia - including the documents from the immigration hearing.
🧵 5. Abrego Garcia’s wife has older children with another man.
In 2018, he filed for custody of the children citing that her boyfriend (Abrego Garcia) was a gang member.
