Iryna Zarutska is dead because of bad policy — bad policy that seemingly spread to every major city all at once.

Why, and how?

Obviously Soros DA’s play a huge role but there’s more.

There’s a group writing the policies for them, and @LELDF broke the full story today…🧵

It’s called the Wren Collective.

They’re a secretive group with very little public profile, but massive influence.

They provide communications support, staffing, messaging, campaign consulting, and above all, pre-written policy strategies to more than 40 far-left DAs.

A great example of what Wren does:

This email (obtained by FOIA) shows the Wren Collective writing to the DA of Portland.

You can see Wren brag about the “model policies” they wrote for a DA in Virginia, and their offer of free staffing, crisis PR support, and donors.

This is really insane: emails show the (now removed) DA of Orlando sending forensics files to Wren, allowing them to edit her memo explaining why she wouldn’t charge a 17 year old who shot and killed someone at a football game.

Wren has this type of access EVERYWHERE.

The full report can be found here:

Emails shows Wren also ghost-wrote op-eds, set up press conferences, and scheduled soft-ball interviews with reporters.

They were basically the PR department for Soros DAs in San Antonio, San Francisco, Houston, and more.

It’s one thing for left-wing DAs to organically all have left-wing ideas, but that’s not what this is.

This is DA’s being co-opted by a massive network and pushed towards evermore radical policies in exchange for donor connections and PR support to help them stay in office.
