The thread below will give a brief overview of what stood out to me in the new EU LGBTIQ action plan.
The very first paragraph nicely sets the tone of the rest of the document. Everything is framed through safety and also notice the term "autheticity".
This passage is also incredibly revealing. It takes as SIENCE par excellence that inclusion and anti-descrimination is inherently good, socially and economically. To be against it, is to undermine the Community and the economy.
"Will use Intersectionality as a cross-cutting principle"
Some liked to argue that what libtards produced in the university the last few decades was just cooky nonsense of no real consequence. But it is now treated as SIENCE.
Some think we have passed peak woke and they will "put the woke away". I would read this passage and think again. Also hillarious to use the holocaust as an argument for more pride symbols in the public sphere.
Capturing the police is an important goal. If they get their wish every police force will have their local gender commissar.
Also the EU will accelerate by legal and financial means (3.2 billion Euro) civil society orgs to further entrench the gay.
And ofc the safety of the LGPTIQ is of the utmost importance. Cyberbullying them can not be allowed and so to protect their vulnerable souls we need more online censorship and more jail time for the evil homophobes (and likely also racists.)
A small summary
This is a longer section.
If I understand the subtext right, this is both a call to make it easier for LGBTIQ to have children and to make certain that children in general come into contact with the gay as soon as possible.
The EU wants to strengthen the national Equality bodies. I will at some point make a thread explaining what they are, but tldr they are subsidized, but operationally fully independent orgs that must push and guard against discrimination and push for inclusion in their nation.
"To make LGBTIQ+ equality part of all EU Policies"
I read this passage that it is the goal of the EU to make sure that all aspects of its polity include an inclusion perspective.
That the EU will follow this is without question. What will be much more interesting is in how the member states will follow the directives off this plan within their own action plan and what concrete actions they will take to push LGBTIQ.
