As information about Adam Lee Wasserman and his past surfaces it will come as no surprise to those who've run afoul of this gentleman that ALW has a criminal record.
From 2000-2005 Adam Lee Wasserman racked up a cornucopia of charges in Quebec: Assault, Theft, Identity Fraud, Breaking and Entering, Intent to Disguise, Criminal Harassment and the list goes on.

In early 2005 ALW was on probation, had a lingering Identity Fraud charge from the previous year, and was facing brand new charges. A warrant was issued for his arrest, but he had absconded. He left his hometown in Montreal and emerged a few years later in Toronto as "Lee".
For 12 years those charges remained outstanding and while ALW was a wanted man in Montreal, "Lee" worked on his ambitions, becoming a self-appointed mogul in adult entertainment; running CopyCraigs, a hotel booking service, and becoming the CEO of SP411, a sex work review forum.
While ALW was on the lam, he and Sa'd became chosen life partners. Sa'd, the budding lawyer, and Wasserman, the fugitive, sat across from the Canna Clinic dispensary in Kensington Market, filming the police during the 2016 "Project Claudia" raids.
In 2024 Sa’d, ever the braggart, boasted media outlets had used "her" footage in their reporting on "Project Claudia" in 2016— footage taken by ALW, a wanted criminal living under an pseudonym— flouting the same "Rule of Law" Sa’d sworn an oath to champion.
Team Sa’d's curated image of two truth-telling, law-abiding, perpetual victims is built on a foundation of lies that collapses upon inspection. It's in their best interest for ALW's name and past to stay buried, which is why they're vehemently against the truth coming out.
Despite a mountain of indirect evidence, Team Sa'd have tried desperately to discredit research indicating that "Lee" of CopyCraigs, "Chase" of SP411, and "Lee" Caryma Sa'd's boyfriend, are the same man.
So let's do a quick recap:
In April 2025, when "Lee" the "videographer" was charged with assault the name he gave the officer was "Lee Stevenson".
"Lee Stevenson" is an alias used by "Chase" of Sp411.
A photo of "Lee Stevenson" holding his dogs is in fact ALW.
The description of "Lee" by the National Post matches the description of "Chase" of Sp411.
"Lee" the "videographer", Caryma Sa'd and "Chase" have all been spotted around town sporting an identical pink gorilla costume.
Both "Lee" the "videographer" and "Lee" from Copycraigs speak French. Adam Lee Wasserman is from a Montreal suburb.
"Copycraigs", "Chase" and Adam Lee Wasserman are all Jewish. All of them love wrestling. And, "Copycraigs" and ALW share the same birthday.
Lastly, photos and videos show the man we now know as Adam Lee Wasserman was present at events "Chase" boasted online that he attended.
As Adam Lee Wasserman would say the "gig" is up.
