🧵At Istanbul University, the "Gaza Tribunal" turned academia into a stage for terror propaganda. Framed as a “people’s court,” it brought together journalists, convicted terrorists and academics like Mahmood Mamdani, father of NYC candidate Zohran Mamdani.

Along convicted terrorists, you had Ramzy Baroud, editor of The Palestine Chronicle — a U.S. non-profit posing as journalism, facing a lawsuit for hiring a Hamas terrorist who held 3 Israeli hostages, Mahmood Mamdani, father of NYC candidate Zohran Mamdani and Katie Halper.

A @JewishOnliner investigation found that the Gaza Tribunal’s featured speakers tied to designated terror groups. Raji Sourani (PFLP), Sahar Francis of Addameer (U.S.-designated PFLP affiliate), and PIJ convict Sami Al-Arian with Mahmood Mamdani, father of NYC Zohran Mamdani.

@AmyMek of @RAIRFoundation has documented Zohran Mamdani’s ties to terrorist sympathizers & extremist networks. Despite evidence allowing the DOJ to investigate & revoke his citizenship, Republicans remain silent enabling Mamdani’s Marxist-Islamic agenda.

Ramy Abdu, chair of Hamas front EuroMed also part of the Gaza Tribunal’s advisory council, was designated by Israel in 2013 as a key Hamas operative in Europe. A nephew of Hamas founder Omar Farwaneh, Abdu’s family and personal ties span Hamas leadership.

Ahmed Alnaouq, co-founder of We Are Not Numbers & Outreach Officer for EuroMed, had a brother who fought with Hamas’ Al-Qassam Brigades, killed in 2014. He has repeatedly compared Israel to Nazi Germany and called for the eradication of Zionism in his public posts.

Despite this record, he was a guest on Piers Uncensored. When independent journalist @EFischberger exposed Alnaouq’s Hamas connections and his brother’s militant history, Piers blocked him, silencing scrutiny of a guest with clear links to a terrorist network.

Jake Romm, representing the Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF) in the U.S., spoke at the Gaza Tribunal. HRF, founded by Belgian-Lebanese Hezbollah affiliates Dyab Abou Jahjah and Karim Hassoun, pursues global fabricated war-crime charges against Israeli soldiers.

Thiago Ávila, a Brazilian coordinator of the Hamas-linked Freedom Flotilla, joined the Gaza Tribunal via video. A veteran of multiple Gaza flotillas, attended Hezbollah's Nasrallah’s 2025 funeral, calling him “inspiring” and chanting “death to America”

Ramzy Baroud spoke at the Gaza Tribunal. He edits the U.S. nonprofit Palestine Chronicle, which employed Hamas operative keeping hostages in his home, now facing a U.S. lawsuit for alledgly supporting Hamas and running a coordinated network of propaganda

Ramzy Baroud’s daughter, Zarefah Baroud, is AMP’s digital manager. Both face lawsuits for allegedly providing support to Hamas after October 7. she has participated in Samidoun panels, met senior Hamas figures in Gaza

Most recently, Zarefah joined a panel alongside Badr Khan Suri at the 11th Annual Palestine Advocacy Days in Washington, D.C. The event was hosted by Americans for Justice in Palestine Action, closely tied to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood

Badr Khan Suri, a Georgetown scholar facing deportation over alleged Hamas ties, is the son-in-law of Ahmed Yousef, senior Hamas leader and advisor to Ismail Haniyeh. Yousef, known as “Hamas’s key to the West,” helped cultivate the West and build the Holy Land Foundation network.

Ramzy Baroud sits on the board of the Palestine Media Forum, whose members include others with Hamas ties. A network of journalists, academics, & NGOs, openly aims to “serve the Palestinian cause” including figures like Aby Martins among thousands more.

Katie Halper appeared on a Gaza Tribunal panel alongside individuals with known terrorist links. Given her history of anti-Israel propaganda and past collaborations with Ramzy Baroud, questions arise about whether she is connected to the Palestine Media Forum TAWASOL network

The Gaza Tribunal includes UN veterans and academics—Richard Falk, Craig Mokhiber, David Whyte, Ussama Makdisi, Wadie Said, Hilal Elver, Michael Lynk, Mouin Rabbani, Christine Chinkin, Georges Abi-Saab, Aslı Bali, and Karim Makdisi—in a forum dominated by terror-linked figures.

A WHO doctor revealed that since December 2023, UN officials planned to fabricate a Gaza famine narrative, raising questions about whether top UN figures are implicated in coordination similar to that described in the Baroud lawsuit.

The lawsuit against Baroud alleges coordination between media, academia, NGOs & Hamas. Last year’s Gaza Tribunal included UN’s Francesca Albanese, also co-founder of a legal network whose board features Baroud and others tied to terrorism.

The Gaza Tribunal, its participants, and NGOs involvement illustrate the lawsuit’s claim: a coordinated network of media, academics, & terror-linked figures amplifying Hamas propaganda under the guise of scholarship and humanitarian advocacy.
