🧵 In 2020, while the world was locked down, the BBC and a UK think tank called ISD secretly built the blueprint for global censorship.
They called it “fighting disinformation.”

While the world was locked down, the BBC partnered with the UK think tank Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD) to publish what they called a “pioneering investigation” into “COVID-19 disinformation.”

2️⃣ The report — co-branded by BBC Click and ISD — claimed to have “mapped 80 million interactions with disinformation” and accused 34 websites of spreading “false” information.
But look closely. 👇
Those 34 “disinfo sites” included GreenMedInfo.com, Mercola.com, @EpochTimes, and other alternative or faith-based publishers.🙏

3️⃣ Simultaneously, the BBC published its companion article:
📺 “Coronavirus: Far-right spreads Covid-19 ‘infodemic’ on Facebook” (by Carl Miller, BBC Click)
It claimed that “fringe health and political communities” were exploiting the pandemic, using data from NewsGuard — a U.S. firm later found to have contracts with the Pentagon.

4️⃣ This BBC/ISD/Newsguard triad quietly built the prototype censorship network later branded as the “Trusted News Initiative.”
They lumped together:
🌿Natural health researchers
🕊️Conservative and religious media
🧑🍼Vaccine safety advocates
… as “far-right extremists.”
It wasn’t journalism. It was a coordinated reputational and digital purge, and would be later used to defame me, my movement, and disassemble every aspect of my professional life.

5️⃣ This one report became the blueprint for years of censorship.
→ CCDH’s “Disinformation Dozen” (2021) repeated it.
→ U.S. & U.K. gov’t agencies cited it.
→ Social media bans and payment shutdowns followed.
For many of us, this was Ground Zero of the assault on health freedom and lawful dissent.

6️⃣ 🕵️♂️ The same BBC that defamed American citizens as “dangerous disinformation actors” is now facing a $1 billion defamation claim from President Trump’s attorney Alejandro Brito — for fabricating content in a Trump documentary.
The same pattern. The same leadership.

7️⃣ 🧠 Under Tim Davie’s tenure (2020–2025), the BBC’s censorship machine expanded — merging with the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) and ISD networks.
Davie’s BBC even helped seed the “Disinformation Dozen” campaign that targeted lawful American speech.
Now Davie is gone.
So is the illusion of impartiality
