This is one of the weirder conspiracy theories, imo. Let's break down what actually happened, shall we?
In 2021, she made a bizarre karaoke video outside of Invisible City Records, who complained about her events in the courtyard at the Chinatown Center.
She then spent hundreds of dollars to replace the sign of her space to "Better Record Shop"
The same space she previously advertised as "Kicks Electric Scooter Repair"
She then encouraged people to come to the "Better Record Shop". She wrote:
'If I buy this for $2.99, is anyone out there willing to pay $5? Trying to figure out the profit margin on these CDs.
Pickup at the Chinatown Centre, Unit C7. #BetterRecordShop'
So, someone did. A local DJ. When he arrived, the shop was closed. Confused, he looked inside and the space was filled with benches and equipment that she used for her outdoor comedy events. Not a single record was seen in the "Better Record Shop". So he took some pictures.
After the event in Chinatown, Now magazine wrote an article calling it a "scooter repair shop" I called that out, because by that time it was being ADVERTISED as "Better Record Shop"
2 years later, Adam Lee Wasserman, admitted to the whole thing.
I'm not really sure how CAHN fit into the narrative at all, tbh 🤷♂️
The space is now occupied by the "Toronto Chinatown Land Trust" who tend the garden and help residents of Chinatown.

It's also worth noting:
✅ The space is visible from the street
✅ Was advertised online and with banners
✅ Nothing prohibiting anyone from taking a picture
That being said. They have attended our home. Once at almost midnight, which was reported to the police -- I just happened to be on my balcony and watched them scoot around a corner...
...Adam then started walking across the street with a piece of cardboard. When he saw me he used the cardboard to hide his face and run back around the corner where he ditched it. I retrieved it the next day.
Prior to that, Adam accosted one of our neighbours - this was also reported to the police.
When this happened, it was at the same time that an anonymous twitter account was posting pictures of our balcony from the street and other super creepy things. Probably just a huge coincidence...
