I spoke at the Warren County Republican Party Candidate Meet & Greet last night. I appreciate the opportunity- thank you! Someone asked me why they should not vote for our opponent. I wanted to address this question publicly on behalf of what Ohioans have told us on the campaign trail.
Why Ohioans Won’t Vote for our opponents 🧵
A collection of what we’ve heard as we’ve traveled the state. People don’t believe he’s America first. Peel back the layers, and it’s hypocrisy, scandals, and elite priorities over everyday Buckeye families. His record looks like a globalist insider. Here’s why:
1/ Soros Scholarship Hypocrisy
Making ~$750k/year, he still took a $50k Soros Fellowship (meant for underprivileged “New Americans”). From a billionaire who bashes elites and handouts? Pure “take what you can get” entitlement. Also Soros connection is concerning.
2/ Axovant Drug Scandal: Pump, Hype, Dump
Bought failed Alzheimer’s drug. Hyped it via a sketchy trial (his mom took part). Stock hit $30 on IPO buzz, he cashed out millions. Then 2017 Phase 3 flop: stock tanks 75%, company value down 99%. Investors wrecked. Classic pump-and-dump.
3/ Roivant: Founded Roivant, accelerated mRNA tech during COVID, ran huge losses until BlackRock & co. bailed them out with DEI money in 2020 pushing “health equity.” Bermuda-based, $1B+ losses in 2023, yet he walked with hundreds of millions. Profits over principles.
4/ COVID Task Force:
Appointed by DeWine to Ohio’s COVID Response Team with Amy Acton. Backed lockdowns, masks, forced vaccines, even suggested vaccine passports to reopen. Now he acts anti-mandate. Total flip-flop.
5/ Glorifi Mess: RICO Lawsuit - Invested in Glorifi. Went bankrupt in 2023. Now he’s named in civil RICO suit (with Peter Thiel) alleging racketeering, trade secret theft, conspiracy, a “blitzkrieg” to sabotage it for gain. Serious allegations.
6/ Zero Business Ties to Ohio - Billionaire but no business or philanthropy here. Roivant’s Bermuda HQ. His “Stand For TRUTH” nonprofit? Barely a blip. He did buy a ~$2-2.5M house in Upper Arlington/Columbus area, but that’s about it, no Ohio investment.
7/ Campaign cash floods in from out-of-state including big checks from PA billionaire Jeff Yass (tik tok flip flop) and Glenn Dubin, a known Epstein associate.
8/ H1B Hypocrisy:
Used H1B visas 29 times at Roivant. Now says “indentured servitude.” But defends foreign talent, calls American workers “mediocre.” How does that raise Ohio wages or protect our kids’ jobs? It doesn’t—pure contradiction.
9/ Data Centers: Tech Bros Drain Ohio
Pushing “Silicon Heartland” data centers hard. They guzzle power, spike utility bills, risk privacy/CBDC surveillance, push net-zero burdens on families with no benefit for locals. Another elite giveaway.
10/ Patronizing & Arrogant State reps say he’s condescending, thinks he’s the smartest guy around. Comes off as out-of-touch caricature of a politician. Hard to work with.
11/ Globalist Wearing Nationalist Clothes
Talks anti-globalist, but businesses are international, funded by BlackRock, tied to Thiel types. Actions scream elite network, not Ohio-first.
12/ Lt. Gov Pick: Insider Betrayal —watered down SB22 (COVID oversight), backed parent-rights-stripping measures, confirmed Amy Acton, opposes property tax cuts. Not going to challenge the status quo.
13/ Quid Pro Quo Smell
DeWine delayed, then endorsed Vivek. Amid lingering FirstEnergy/HB6 scandal corruption questions, some speculation it’s a deal to keep things buried. Classic insider favor swap.
14/ DC Hates Him + Elon Feud Quarrels everywhere, including public Musk blowup. Even allies call him difficult. His Trump nod? Some say consolation prize. Power grabs turn people off.
15/ No Religious Test…But Cultural Clash at TPUSA event comparing Hindu Gods to the Trinity was offensive and disrespectful.
16/ Against abolishing property taxes which threaten to harm seniors and prevents young people from getting houses
17/ The Early Endorsement Rigging and machinations of corrupt and complicit party insiders for an agenda that doesn’t fly with true Republican values.
Ohio deserves real leadership, no flip-flops, no elite baggage, no deception. Vote for someone who actually puts Ohioans first and starts businesses here like @CaseyPutschOhio - Keep the Buckeye State for families, not biotech bros and globalist cash.
