I guess I should explain why Ukraine doesn't want to go back to the USSR on example.
After the 1917 Revolution, the USSR went through a "naming revolution." Parents ditched traditional saints' names for "revolutionary" abbreviations to show off their loyalty to the Soviet cause👇
Vilor -V.I. Lenin, Organizer of the Revolution.
Marenlenst -Marx, Engels, Lenin, and Stalin.
Pofistal -Pobeditel fashizma Iosif Stalin (Joseph Stalin, Victor over Fascism).
Roblen -Rodilsya byt' lenintsem (Born to be a Leninist)
Kukutsapol -Kukuruza — tsaritsa poley (Corn is the Queen of the Fields). A favorite during Khrushchev’s "corn campaign."
Oyushminalda -O.Yu. Shmidt na l'dine (O.Y. Schmidt on the ice floe). Named after an explorer stranded in the Arctic.
Dazdraperma -Da zdravstvuet Pervoe Maya!(Long live the First of May!)
Dazdrasmygda -Da zdravstvuet smychka goroda i derevni! (Long live the union of the city and the countryside!)
Dazdrasen -Da zdravstvuet Sedmoe Noyabrya!(Long live the Seventh of November!)
This is not even 0.01% what was wrong with the Soviet union, but gives a little insight in craziness of state
