🏛️ On March 3, 2026 — yesterday — House Oversight Chairman James Comer summoned Gates to a transcribed interview on May 19, 2026.
The Committee's mandate includes investigating how Epstein "curried favor and exercised influence to protect his illegal activities."

4/ THE MIT ANONYMOUS DONATION SCANDAL
🎓 Why does "Deception" land so hard?
Because MIT was caught deliberately hiding Epstein's donations as "anonymous" — even internally — after his 2008 sex offender conviction.
@NewYorker / Ronan Farrow broke this in 2019. MIT's own review confirmed it.
Epstein apparently had a word for that strategy.

5/ WHO IS BARNABY MARSH?
🔬 Epstein sent this email to Barnaby Marsh — an Oxford-trained evolutionary biologist and longtime Epstein intellectual collaborator.
"Deception signals" is a real concept in his academic field — signaling theory.
But Epstein wasn't writing a dissertation. He was building a co-funding coalition. At MIT. With Gates.
6/ THE GATES DENIAL PROBLEM
⚠️ Gates has long minimized his Epstein ties as regrettable but limited "philanthropic" meetings.
But the public record tells a different story:
▪️ Multiple post-conviction meetings (NYT, 2019)
▪️ Explored a ~$2B fund with Epstein
▪️ Now: a 2013 email showing joint MIT funding described as "deception"
