A short thread about the massive expansion of SHORAD positions in Russia last year.

1. Between May and September, approximately 43 new Pantsir towers were built for the new 50km ring around Moscow.
To my knowledge, all towers have been equipped (⚡️) with Pantsir vehicles...

...since November/December 2025. The "inner" positions were NOT abandoned, with the exception of one or two.
2. Since approximately December 2025, nearly all relevant refineries within a radius of approximately 1500 km have been equipped with at least one anti-aircraft...

...ramp. The two refineries in Samara alone apparently received three new ramps between August and September (not yet confirmed!) [1&2]
3. In Rostov alone, approximately 9 new ramps, probably for Pantsir, were built in 2025 [3] - green. Around 3-4 more were added in Kazan [4]

4. In 2025, another ring of 8 new Pantsir towers was added to Putin's residence in Valdai, within a radius of approximately 20 km (now 19 known towers + 1 EW + 2 radar positions + 1 S-400 + 1 S-300)

5.First cities outside Moscow, Valdai and StP, are now getting concrete Pantsir towers,
e.g. Sochi [1&2], Vladimir x2 [3+Link] and within a 100-125km radius of Moscow [4]

6. More and more ramps are now being built near important electrical substations (Rostov, Stariy Oskol, Bryansk, etc.).
Fortunately, we learned five times in Feodosia alone that this doesn't guarantee absolute safety, and nobody believes it does.

In summary, I would estimate slightly more than 100 additional new Pantsir positions within the last year. ⚠️The ramps I've marked with a "P" for Pantsir can also accommodate BUK etc., or radar/EW vehicles.
Towers, however, are likely always for Pantsirs.

Just a reminder for the colors of all pictures except the first picture of the 50km ring:

The most of airports, aerodromes and airbases in the south of Russia were also recently equipped with new AD ramps. (Gelendzhik AP [1&2], Krasnodar AP [3], Tikhoretsk AB, Primorsko-Akhtarsk AB [4], Zernograd AB, Taganrog AB+AP, Rostov AB+AP, Bataysk AB, Voronezh AB etc)
