My father always told my brother:

"NEVER put anything in your wife's name."

The moment my brother put the house in my sister-in-law's name, the complaints began.

And just 3 months later, they got divorced.

When I asked my father why that happened,

he said:

I said,
“But isn’t love about giving your all?”

He smiled and replied:

“Love without boundaries becomes self-destruction.”

Then he said something that stayed with me:

A smart man provides, protects, and supports —
but never puts himself in a position
where one decision can cost him everything.”

And finally, he said:

“It’s not about controlling her…
it’s about not losing control of your own life.”
