THE DAY YOU DIE, your family could not access a single thing.

Every password, Bank details, wallet, memory will locked forever. PERMANENTLY.

HERE IS HOW TO FIX THIS IN 9 MINUTES.

This day could be tomorrow, so don't wait. ACT.👇

Step 1: Apple Legacy Contact (5 minutes)

Most people have no idea this exists.
↳ Go to Settings
↳ Tap your name
↳ Sign-In and Security
↳ Legacy Contact
↳ Add someone you trust

Apple gives them a special key. They show that key plus a death certificate and they get full access.

5 minutes. Most people will never do it.

Step 2: Google Inactive Account Manager (5 minutes)

Go to
↳ Choose how long Google waits before treating your account as inactive (3, 6, 12, or 18 months)
↳ Add up to 10 trusted contacts
↳ Assign who gets what, Gmail, Drive, Photos

Done. Your Google life is no longer a dead end.myaccount.google.com/inactive

Step 3: Emergency Access in your password manager (5 minutes)

This is the most important step. Your password manager holds everything.
↳ Bitwarden: Settings, Emergency Access, add a contact
↳ LastPass: Account Settings, Emergency Access, add a contact
↳ 1Password: does NOT have this feature

If you use 1Password, print their Emergency Kit PDF. Store it with your will. Not on your laptop.

Step 4: Write your crypto seed phrase on paper. Right now. (5 minutes)

↳ No exchange can recover it
↳ No lawyer can
↳ No court order can

If the seed phrase is gone, the crypto is gone. Forever.

Write it on paper. Lock it in a safe or with your estate documents.
This one is non-negotiable.

Step 5: Facebook and Instagram legacy contacts (5 minutes)

↳ Go to Settings
↳ Accounts Center
↳ Personal Details
↳ Account Ownership and Control
↳ Memorialization Settings

Choose a legacy contact or request your account be deleted after you're gone.

Instagram is linked. Same place. Same 5 minutes.

Step 6: Tell someone your phone passcode. Right now. (2 minutes)

Your phone has your 2FA apps. Google Authenticator. Authy.
↳ Without your passcode, your family cannot get into anything that needs two-factor authentication
↳ Which is everything important

This is the step people always skip. Do not skip it.

Step 7: One master document. That's it. (3 minutes)

One page. Keep it simple.
↳ Where your password manager is and how to access it
↳ Where your crypto seed phrase is stored
↳ Your phone passcode
↳ Your Apple Legacy Contact name
↳ Your Google Inactive Account Manager contacts

Print it. Put it with your physical documents. Tell one person it exists.

What NOT to do:
↳ Do not store passwords in Google Docs. If your account is locked, the doc is locked too
↳ Do not assume your spouse knows everything. They probably do not
↳ Do not skip crypto. There is no customer service for lost crypto
↳ Do not leave it for the bank to figure out. Without proper documentation it can take years

30 minutes today. Everything accessible tomorrow.
