As we head into the launch of Monument of Triumph on June 9, 2026, we wanted to gather some important topics from our recent blogs in one centralized place.

The Director returns as the main way to navigate Destinations and to activities.

The Portal and various respective Ops categories have been incorporated into the Director at the bottom of the screen.

Activity difficulties have been overhauled in Monument of Triumph. Less math, more playing.
➕ Selecting a difficulty will always result in you hitting a default reward rank and reward tier.
📈 Modifiers now allow higher scores to be reached without increasing difficulty, to offset the cost of selected boons, and to provide a completely optional challenge.
💠 Ex: Play at Expert and add additional modifiers to earn Tier 4 gear without facing Champions.

Every hour, one of seven Destinations will become Distorted.

Distorted Destinations add additional challenge, variety, and unique rewards to patrolling the Sol system.

💀 All Raids and Dungeon gear have been refreshed with gear tiering.
🌍 Destination gear has been updated and refreshed.
🗺️ New loot has been added to Vanguard, Crucible, Gambit, Arena Ops, Competitive Crucible, Iron Banner, Trials of Osiris, SRL, Pinnacle Ops...and more!
🎯 Attune to certain weapons in your inventory and increase your drop chance of that specific weapon.
🛡️ New armor archetypes.
🔁 All refreshed and tiered Armor sets have been given 2-piece and 4-piece set bonuses.

All Exotic Weapons will have a catalyst
➕ 25 new catalysts have been added.
🔫 Perks have been added to 9 older catalysts that previously only gave stat boosts.
🔒 Vault space will increase 1000 >> 1300 slots.
➕ Loadouts will increase to 12 >> 20 slots.

Artifacts have been rebuilt!
7️⃣ Choose from 7 familiar artifacts.
💾 Artifact mods now save in loadouts.
🙌 No more refunding to change a column 3 perk.

5️⃣ All Armor 3.0 Exotics will have Tier 5 stats and access to all tuning mods.

Weapon Tier Upgrading
💹 Use materials to upgrade a weapon from Tier 1 to Tier 5.
🔓 Unlock all the enhanced perk benefits of Tier 5 gear as well as the unique Tier 5 cosmetic.
🟨 Enhanced gear mods move to being unlocked at Tier 3.
🙅‍♀️ Upgrading cannot add additional perks to your weapons.

New Raid activity: Pantheon
💀 Tomorrow, June 9, two Pantheon activities will be available with a unique lineup of bosses.
☠️ On Saturday, June 13, a third Pantheon activity will open to challenge players in the full gauntlet of bosses.
🎁 Earn a new armor set, reprised weapons, returning Universal Armor Ornaments, emblems, a new Title, and more.
😇 All Pantheon activities offer a new Adventure difficulty with lower stakes for learning, teaching, and practicing.

Legacy Raid and Dungeon Updates:
🔁 Two Raids and Dungeons are featured again, rotating weekly.
📈 All weapons and armor in Raids and Dungeons prior to The Desert Perpetual have been updated with Tiered Gear.

🔫 All reprised raid weapons have updated perk pools.
🔫 All reprised dungeon weapons gain new origin traits.

Bright Engrams and Bright Dust
🎯 Bright Engrams can now be focused into different categories with a bit of Bright Dust.
🚫 Bright Engram Focusing will NOT produce duplicates.
🟧 Bright Dust and Chronologs will be primarily earned through the Seasonal Hub, with their weekly earnable amounts increasing.
🔁 The Bright Dust store will rotate daily.

Dresstiny and Fashion Updates
👖 Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Legendary Ornaments can be applied to Exotic Armor.

🛡️ Upgraded inventories of older armor sets, ornaments, weapons, and gear.

Seasonal events such as Solstice, Festival of the Lost, The Dawning, and Guardian Games have been retired.
🗿 A collection of weapon rewards from these events can be earned through a Monument of Triumph vendor.
⚪ Armor Ornament sets previously available for Bright Dust will be available through direct exchange and Bright Engram Focusing.
