The simplest nutrition strategy I know
That has helped many of my clients lose +30lbs
I call it 3-2-1-0
3: Eat 3 protein dominant meals every day.
No more. No less.
What's protein dominant mean?
1-2 PALM SIZED portions of protein.
This ensures the meals you are eating will be FILLING. The goal is to not have to snack throughout the day.
2: Drink 2 glasses of water around each meal
This not only helps keep you hydrated throughout the day but it also can help with overeating.
I recommend drinking one a few minutes before you sit down for your meal, then have one during/after
1: Each meal has 1 serving of a fruit or vegetable
1 serving = 1 fist
Fruits and veggies are not only nutrient rich, but also high volume foods
Meaning they take up space in your stomach without many calories.
Bonus: choose ones that are high in fiber!
0: No alcohol (or no alcohol outside of special occasions)
This is quite simple. Consistent alcohol consumption makes weight loss signficantly harder
Remove or restrict it and many will see the process get much easier.
