The Israeli army used flares at night to light the way for the right-wing Lebanese militias to the refugee camps.
US Sec of State Alexander Haig provided agreen light for the massacre & the militias used US weapons given to them by Israel
US negotiated a peace deal w/ PLO (who had protecting the camps) whereby they would retreat in exchange for US protection of refugee camps
As usual, US promises meant nothing. US allowed the Israeli proxy forces to massacre thousands defenseless Palestinian & Lebanese civilians
