We asked @wandooih what her top 3 tips are on dealing with work-life balance, being a woman with a family. This is what she had to say:
1. Leave work at work: Develop a mental on-off switch between work and home. This might consist of listening to music or reading a book during the commute or exercising at the gym. You must switch off before you enter your house in order to spend quality time with your family.
2. Schedule like your life depended on it
Set aside 10 to 20 minutes at the beginning of each day (or the night before) to plan your tasks and activities for the day and evening ahead.
3. Build your team at home: It is important to spend money on things that make our lives easier. Pay your staff adequately so you get people with value. Ensure that your domestic staff know their responsibilities. Be sure to understand their limitations and you would be happier.
