La carga fiscal soportada por el parque nuclear español se ha incrementado en más de un 70% en los últimos 5 años, un PROBLEMA ARTIFICIAL creado por el Gobierno para hacer inviables las centrales nucleares y forzar su cierre.

El impuesto sobre la producción de combustible nuclear gastado y las Ecotasas de las comunidades autónomas son redundantes con la Tasa Enresa y puramente recaudatorias, no tienen contrapartidas de la administración, ni se destinan a actividades relacionadas con el parque nuclear.
Tras la emisión del tendencioso programa de televisión @anatomia_tv de @laSextaTV sobre el incidente de Vandellós I en 1989, considero necesario aclarar en un HILO algunas afirmaciones carentes del rigor y la veracidad que cabría esperar en profesionales del periodismo.
INTRODUCCIÓN
La central nuclear de Vandellós I está situada en el municipio de L’Hospitalet de l’Infant, en la provincia de Tarragona. Inició la operación comercial en 1972 y fue la tercera en conseguirlo en España, después de José Cabrera (1969) y Santa María de Garoña (1970).
El diseño de esta central era único en España. Disponía de un reactor de tipo uranio natural-grafito refrigerado por gas (CO₂) y con una potencia de 480 MWe. Su tecnología era francesa y la operaba la compañía Hispano-Francesa de Energía Nuclear, Sociedad Anónima (Hifrensa).
Llamado a ser un vector energético esencial para descarbonizar diversos sectores, el 95% del hidrógeno se obtiene actualmente mediante combustibles fósiles. ¿Qué ventajas tendría producirlo en las centrales nucleares españolas? Lo explico en un HILO.
Este hilo es un breve resumen del trabajo fin de máster titulado «Análisis de las alternativas de generación de hidrógeno con un reactor nuclear de agua ligera», realizado por Alejandro Pintado Bergas, auxiliar de operación/turbina en la central nuclear Almaraz (Cáceres, España).
Una de las principales ventajas de las centrales nucleares es su enorme capacidad para producir vapor y energía eléctrica durante grandes periodos de tiempo y con una gran independencia de la meteorología. España dispone actualmente de 7 reactores nucleares en operación.

✅ El artículo es tendencioso desde el principio, haciendo poner en cuarentena el resto de afirmaciones, que comprobaremos que son coherentes con el tono.
🟠 «A punto de cumplir los cuarenta años de vida útil las centrales, las autoridades consideran que “no tiene sentido económico” realizar las inversiones que serían necesarias para alargar su vida de manera segura.»
✅ Además de enlazar unas declaraciones de Teresa Ribera, un medio verificador como @Newtral debería consultar otras fuentes implicadas, como el @ForoNuclear, representante de la industria nuclear, que comunicó recientemente que «el sector nuclear español se hace cargo de la totalidad de los costes operativos y en especial del coste de la gestión de los residuos radiactivos que se producen en las centrales nucleares». Es más, la operación a largo plazo de las centrales nucleares ya está preparada y sufragada por sus propietarios y no requiere inversiones extraordinarias, que en todo caso correrían a cargo de sus propietarios, que son empresas privadas.
