No. Amazon has zero experience in perishable food products, & it matters deeply. It's not "just a drop in a bucket."

I've worked w Amazon-backed food projects. It's BAD.

Have also worked on Costco-linked projects. So much better it's like they're not even on the same planet.
The scary thing is a lot of food startups are hiring ex-Amazon execs for their scaleup phase because the bougie world thinks Amazon has great logistics.

So Amazon's high self-regard/low actual skillset is spreading through the food startup world like a damn tumor.
They SHOULD be hiring ex-Costco.

Except there ARE no ex-Costco folks, bc Costco treats their ppl right. But plenty of folks leave Amazon "for new opportunities" after 10 yrs bc it's a techno-feudal nightmare.
