There’s been a lot of speculation about the accidental death of Eil Stickley, Jim Jordan’s nephew. According to Illinois State Police reports, he lost control, ran off the road, overcorrected and rolled several times. You usually see accident put in quotes.
They want you to think that the “deep state” had something to do with the young man’s death. If he were not Jim Jordan’s nephew, no one would give his death a second thought. Every report I’ve read (which is many) describes the crash in the same way.
It appears that he either fell asleep at the wheel or was distracted, ran into the right hand ditch and then panicked and overcorrected. It happens more often that people would like to admit. Especially with young drivers. (He was 21.) The deep state did not kill Eli Stickley.
The rampant speculation of Twitter is just that. Completely devoid of facts and strong on “coincidence”.
