⊰ if one of the soulmates dies it stops, the other one is not affected and will live a normal life. this does not apply if one of the soulmates kills himself or the other, in that case both will die

⊰ only the soulmate that found out about the whole thing is supposed to know about it. If the other is told or finds out about it before the countdown ends, regardless of the way, the remaining time will be cut in half
