1) Former President Barack Obama arrived in Kenya for his 2-day visit. He is there to inaugurate his sister's "Sauti Kuu Foundation" in which he is involved in, and past reports stated Oprah was going to be with him, but I do not see her?🤔
nation.co.ke/video/news/414…
2) Try not to vomit while watching this 4-min vid by none other than CNN:
"Obama is in Kenya for his sister's project. Then he's off to South Africa"
cnn.com/2018/07/15/afr…
3) A little encouragement after that horrid video - some people are "woke" in Africa & fully aware of Obama's agenda, among other corrupts. One such wonderful woman is @DrMumbiSeraki. In fact, she may be more woke than many in our country: ❤️
4) A little recap: The former US president arrived in Kenya yesterday to open a charity set up by his half-sister, Auma Obama, in the village where their father grew up, 250 miles northwest of Nairobi in Kogelo, Siaya county. It is his first visit to Kenya since leaving office.
5) He then plans to fly on to Johannesburg to pay tribute to Nelson Mandela (don't get me started), and supposedly "to set up his most significant international project as a former world leader", says the Times.🤔
6) @DrMumbiSeraki just let me know that he arrived alone and even Michelle opted out of the trip. 🤣
7) This just posted 15 minutes ago: Supposedly "Michelle was spotted letting loose at Beyonce and Jay-Z concert in Paris on Sunday night. She was with her daughter Sasha." After an 8-day trip to Tanzania with Barack.

8) And the Hill reports: "Former President Obama is in Kenya to help launch a sports and training center established by his half-sister." Notice they made certain to end it with, "he was born in Hawaii", just to... you know...reaffirm. 🤣

9) This is disconcerting: "President Kenyatta sought to assure the former President of the support of all African leaders in scaling up youth programmes under the Obama Foundation."
nation.co.ke/news/Uhuru-s-t…
10) "The two leaders agreed that the youth in Africa could become the continent’s most valuable asset if their energy and creativity are effectively harnessed, said a State House statement."🙄
11) "President Kenyatta congratulated Obama on setting up the Obama Foundation, which seeks to empower the youth to become agents of change for Africa."
12) "...talks were on the Building Bridges Initiative, youth empowerment, education and Kenya's efforts to bring peace to South Sudan. They said the effort will be championed by a 14-member secretariat headed by Ambassador Martin Kimani and lawyer Paul Mwangi."
13) "“Mr Obama expressed full support for the Building Bridges Initiative and the war on corruption. The former US President called for greater induction of the youth into the initiative as a way of ensuring its deepening into the future.”🤢
14) "Journalists were not allowed into the hotel which was heavily guarded by an elite squad from the General Service Unit."

“This is a private meeting and you are advised to leave this place for security reasons,” shouted one of the security officers to...
15) "...journalists who camped near the hotel as a band of youths dressed in black T-shirts and caps were ushered into the hotel."😳
16) "Monday set to inaugurate the Sauti Kuu Foundation’s project, which comprises a Sports Centre and a Resource and Vocational Training Institute run by his half-sister Dr Auma Obama."
17) He will then visit..."his Ancestral home in Alego Nyang’oma of Siaya County, Mr Obama will head to South Africa, where he is expected to deliver the 16th Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture in Johannesburg."🙄
18) Here is a site that posts live updates of this facade, with photos & videos, if you care to follow along over the next couple days. #BarackObama #LockHimUp

19) Well, I don't know if Oprah and the supposed 350 celebrities intend to show up to the Nelson Mandela event in Johannesburg, but this article sure is an interesting read. (It was previously reported by other sources Oprah would be in Kenya as well): the-star.co.ke/news/2018/06/2…
20) "In an exclusive interview with Forbes Woman Africa, Oprah Winfrey talked about where it all started — in Mandela’s home where she spent 10 days and shared 29 meals with the statesman and pledged to build a school for girls and invest in the people of South Africa."
21) "Obama's delegation includes renowned global business leaders. They include Axel Bachmann, the general manager for sustainability at Coca Cola; Markus Baumann and the group company secretary the Union Bank of Switzerland." - You don't say?🙄
22) "Others are Barbro Ciakudia, vice president for business development at Invest Africa; and Vik Bakhru, a physician, entrepreneur and currently CEO at ConsenjoSano. The firm specialises in venture-backed health technology that simplifies and lowers the cost of care."🤨
23) Now it makes sense. Michelle must be flying into South Africa from Paris with Beyonce and Jay-Z for the big Mandela "concert". Wow, this is one odd photo:
cnn.com/2018/07/09/afr…
24) MY BAD! Hold the phone. This is apparently for the event taking place on December 2nd. I thought it pertained to the Obama dealeo tomorrow. It also mentions Oprah will be a keynote speaker.
25) Michelle is supporting Barack and Africa from afar, as she boasts about the 200 "Obama leaders" they have recruited.
@threadreaderapp unroll please
26) I hadn't yet watched this 6-min vid @DrMumbiSeraki did on a warning to Africa about Obama coming, and the strange coincidence of TEN SCHOOLS BURNING DOWN just days before his arrival, when I posted this thread last nightl! What is this about?!

27) I'm sure most won't be able to stomach this, but if you want to see/hear Obama's speech that took place in Johannesburg at the Nelson Mandela lecture, just to see what he's preaching, here is the full speech:
