This concern's been floating around for years w/r/t mineral content, so wanted to address that.

Ran out of thread space to cover "people depending on rice for all their protein are already in trouble bc RICE GOT BARELY ANY PROTEIN ALREADY"
Climate change is set to cause so many food problems, it's confounding that someone would pick "slight decrease of protein in a crop that already is a terrible source of protein" as the headline.
It's like if you saw someone about to get run over by a train

and the thing you get worried about is "what if some paint from the train flakes off in the collision, gets into a wound, and poisons them"
like. it's technically possible for that to happen?

but if that's what someone thinks the big problem is w getting hit by a train, they're probably dealing w some misconceptions on how trains work
