Omg you guys. My boyfriend has been renting his house on @Airbnb and has a group of 4 people this weekend. Except 25 people showed up. Twenty fucking five

When they showed up, his nest camera alerted they were there. He checked and holy shit just a sea of people

So he calls the guy and is like “hey man, not to be rude but that looks like a lot more than 4. My house can’t accommodate large events.” The guy is like “oh gosh, I’m so sorry. We’re doing a quick bible study and then they’re leaving.”

My boyfriend is begrudgingly allows them to finish bible study. They say they’ll be done in an hour. NOPE

Fucking MORE PEOPLE SHOW UP. More and more and more.

Finally he calls @Airbnb and they’re like “are you sure you can’t accommodate them?” LITERAL DOZENS OF PEOPLE ON A SMALL RURAL SEPTIC SYSTEM, NAH

So! @airbnb calls back the guy, calls my boyfriend back and says “the guy says you had a verbal agreement to let 25 or so people stay.” WHAT THE FUCK. It’s a 3 bedroom house. NO. FUCK NO

So @airbnb agrees they gotta go. They are calling them and telling them to get out.

OH ALSO, the guy said “we’re just a large Christian bible study group. What does it matter if it’s more than 4” LIKE WHAT THE FUCK DOES LOVING JESUS MEAN YOU GET AWAY WITH THIS SHIT

Anyway, we’re driving an hour out to his house to make sure they leave because it doesn’t look like they want to

HERE IS LIKE HALF THE PEOPLE THAT SHOWED UP

We’re about 20 minutes minutes away.

They were told to leave about 20-30 minutes ago and no one has left.

Also a pastor dead ass lying to everyone is too fucking rich. Way to be the beacon of morality

There was some construction so we’ve still got about 10 minutes. What are the odds they’re going to pretend to be asleep

Hi @Airbnb the person on the phone said they were going to ask them to leave then we got this message 3 minutes ago.

This is fucking insane. We’re pulling up to the driveway. I think we’re gonna call @Airbnb again. I don’t know. What the fuck you guys

The pastor put one pillow in his car and came back. That’s it. Literally who feels THIS entitled to someone’s space? Who lies like that??

Okay so we got here, and the intended 4 guests were in the living room acting confused. Like “what? We have to leave? Our ONE extra guest left though”

Christian Andy lied right to my face when I asked him why he told Airbnb about the “verbal agreement”

Then they got an attitude when my boyfriend said “you gotta go.” One guy said “we can’t yet. We have clothes in the washer.” And without missing a beat my boyfriend says “we have trash bags. Bag it up”

They brought up being Christians and bible study again like that’s supposed to guilt is or absolve them???

So for those keeping score these “Christians” lied, stole, and behaved in a deceitful manner.

Maybe I will send an invoice to the church with screenshots of the Nest cam and the conversation where their youth pastor repeatedly lies idk

Anyway. I have to work for a bit. This shit is utterly backwards. Hilarious! But backwards. We feel fortunate that it didn’t escalate any further than throwing them out at midnight. And hopefully, @Airbnb will do the right thing.
