I was looking at some 𝑸𝑨𝒏𝒐𝒏 posts and saw this one with "codes" which I find pretty interesting considering how many years I have spent staring at and analyzing millions passwords...
Presumably, this is a communication between Q and some other unknown operatives who have chosen 8chan as their means of communication...
The codes and "Route T" stuff make it look like some serious spy communications, but I noticed something about the codes...
Almost all the characters either alternate between left/right hand or are right next to each other on the keyboard...
So I want you to all type along:
2-8-2-1-2-9-8-3-8-2-1-2-8-1-7-2-3-9-u-7-2-1
and if you split them apart by left/right hand, you get this:
2212321123121 and
88988879y7
Now looking at the other code:
AB-aKd&Egh281Q you see that they are almost all on the same keyboard row
The funny thing about people is that even when we type random stuff we tend to have a signature. This guy, for example, likes to have his hand on the ends of each side of the keyboard (e.g., 1,2,3 and 7,8,9) and alternate...
He also goes in both directions (as opposed to asdf) which can often mean it's someone who plays a musical instrument.
The code AB-aKd&Egh281Q was most certainly typed on a qwerty keyboard, considering that most of those characters are on the same row and the ones that aren't are near a previous letter of either the right or left hand...
So my conclusion here is these are not actual codes, just random typing by someone who might play an instrument and uses a qwerty keyboard.
Here's another random "code" that follows the same pattern.
Here are two more again with the same patterns:
I have to say, he definitely knows the language of conspiracy theorists.
Now here is a code that does not follow the other patterns at all. Make your own conclusions.
Here are a bunch of his "codes" if anyone else likes staring at patterns: gist.github.com/m8urnett/971a1…
This logic is amazing:
If you just take the codes I posted earlier, stripping out all words, this is what the keyboard heatmap looks like.

So where did I leave off on my Windows UI rant? Oh yes, the new modern settings apps...
One thing the Windows UI designers always did well was consistency. For example, modal dialog boxes always had an ok, cancel, and sometimes apply buttons. They were a fixed size and had no window border so it was obvious they were pop-ups.
But the new Windows UI design has no consistency. There's no more indication that a dialog box is different than any other window.

I want the windows notification tray icon for networking to show IP addresses in the tooltip when you hover on it.
I never really understood why MS ditched the show on tray option for network connections, it was so nice to be able to dbl-click to bring up the connection properties.
It takes 6-7 clicks to get to them now.

Did Microsoft just make it so ALL their accounts can only be 16 characters? Suddenly my main MS account pw doesn't work and it now won't let me set it to a pw similar to what it was.
I mean instead of fixing that limitation they decided to make everything else have the same limitation?
What annoys me most about this is that I use this account for logging in to some computers so I have an easy-to-remember and type password rather than a random string.

This "Whole House EMF Neutralizer" on Amazon is literally just an empty plug (see pics in comments).

amzn.to/2BUpxqN
The same company sells this other "EMF Neutralizer" that you place next to your wireless router to absorb EMF (but not the good WiFi stuff!)
Then there's this radiation sticker, but wouldn't you want it on the side closest to your head?

I use a teflon mouse pad (ok, a pizza pan) and teflon mouse feet. I clean my mouse pad/mouse every das. I wax them both a couple times a week. But then I get a spec of dust on there and it's like fingernails on a chalkboard.
I'm also at the point where the teflon is wearing down a bit. I need to invent something.
Has anyone ever tried silicon spray?
