#India doesn’t need to earn my affection by being flawless and perfect. Her Every imperfection, every blemish is mine. All her failures are mine. No, I am proud of my India. Never will I question the glory of the land which gave me birth, home and love #IndependenceDayIndia
If her face carries the ugly wounds of the past, I allowed her to suffer under slavery. I failed her as a son. If there is misgovernance, I chose wrong people to rule. If there’s poverty, we must introspect on the leaders we made custodian to the nation for decades.
Every time, she stumbles, I stand apart, brush dust off my clothes and mock her. I laugh at her struggle, mocking - See, so many poor; see so much corruption, see so much dirt and garbage. The world mocks at me. When the mother is belittled, the child loses all respect.
You don’t grow taller by stepping over the honour of your mother. You shrink shorter with each generation until you become a country of dwarfs. Remember before lamenting of Politics, I’d Open Drains, slipping heritage on a day of glory #IndependenceDayIndia
This nation was struggling under slavery, couldn’t offer its offspring meals twice a day. The best places had the signboards- Dogs and Indians not allowed. The worthy sons and daughters of India, still considered it divine and laid lives for it. #IndependenceDayIndia
