Folks keep asking if they can help me financially with my medical bills.
I keep saying I don't want to do that until I must.
In this thread, folks argue that $100k isn't much of a salary.
Actually it's 8x the poverty level, which I live at.
Please give your money to poor people.
And again, I'm not asking for anyone's help right now as I know it's a one-off.
I am just speaking up for poor people who have no access.
Women are most likely to be living in #poverty in America.
And millions of us are in #medicalbankruptcy.
These are just things to remember.
The majority of minimum wage workers are women.

I simply question raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for a man who made at least $100k a year because "it's not a lot to live on."
$12k a year is not a lot to live on.
$100k is a lot.
