At some point @jack needs to understand that bias is not a greater sin than disinformation. Truth might reinforce a bias, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be prioritized over lies that appear to neutralize bias.
For example: I think the President is an incorrigible liar. Does conform to left-leaning bias? Yes. Is it true? Also, yes. If i said the President didn't lie or that his lying was ok, would that conform to a politically right-leaning bias? Yes. Are those things true?
If I say climate change exists is that left-biased and true? Yes, yes, & indisputable empirically except by charlatans making false claims. Should twitter privilege POVs that it knows to be empirically false to overweight a right-leaning POV? No. That's fucking stupid.
It's also deeply damaging to the discourse because it treats falsehoods with some traction as having equal weight to empirically definable and indisputable facts. It also conflates authority with popularity, and they are not the same thing.
