Are you eligible to register to vote? Requirements in TX:
-US citizen;
-Resident of the county where you submit the application;
-Age 18 on Election Day;
-Not a convicted felon*;
-Not declared by court to be totally mentally incapacitated (or partially w/o right to vote).

Unfortunately, TX requires these so-called "acceptable" forms of ID in order to vote:

TX Driver's License
TX Election ID Cert (DPS)
TX Personal ID (DPS)
TX Handgun License
US miitary ID w/photo
US Citizenship Cert w/photo
US Passport

After you've registered, build your ballot with @LWVTexas :
Vote early, if possible. The first day of early voting in person is 22 October 2018 and the last day is 02 November 2018
Vote by mail (early) if you are:
- 65/older;
- disabled;
- out of the county on election day AND during early voting;
- in jail, but otherwise eligible.

If you are convicted of a felony, you are ineligible to vote ONLY while incarcerated, on parole, or on probation.

Your voting rights will be automatically restored upon completion of all supervised release. Ex-offenders should re-register to vote!
