Was watching the movie Doc Hollywood last night with Michael J. Fox. It’s one of my favorite movies.

He’s a plastic surgeon going to work in an extremely high end clinic to the rich and famous.

Along his way he crashes his car in an small Old School North Carolina town....
He gets fined for destroying a farmers fence with his car and has to do community service in the local clinic, which has one dr and one nurse.

Lots of life lessons in the movie.

He falls in love with the town, the people, and a girl, of course.

In a few scenes...
A married couple comes to the office, not for treatment, but for him to read the letters sent to them from back home because they can’t read.

He sits with them and gets more and more involved with this family. It’s pretty funny....
Reminded me of how people from the neighborhood would come to see my grandmother and my dad at our restaurant, not to eat, but to talk about their families.
Go watch this movie if you’ve never seen it.

I won’t give away the ending, but all I’ll say is I would have done the same thing.

Which I believe is my biggest flaw and my greatest gift.
Here’s the scene when he reads the married couples mail...very funny....
