Work smarter not harder!!

-Except you don’t know how to work smart when you haven’t worked hard

-Except many tasks require repetitive work that cannot be made to go faster

-Except the most productive people work the Most (heuristic)
Work smarter not harder is often an excuse to be lazy

Especially when it’s being said by someone with little to no experience

If you’re preaching WSNH in year one of learning something

Or running your business

It’s probably going to Fail
If you want to work “smarter”

Apply more structure and discipline to your work

-follow a set schedule

-prioritize tasks

-use the Pomodoro method or something similar to maximize your output
It’s only after putting in time and effort that you can effectively know what to delegate, eliminate, and innovate to be faster

That’s not happening without some concrete hustle and grind first
If the average 9-5er does 4 hours of work in 8 hours

And the work day was cut to 4 hours

They’d likely do only 2 hours of work

Most people are lazy, they’re never going to maximize their work efficiency at all
Work harder to work smarter to work harder to work smarter

It’s a continuous loop

-And when in doubt

Put in more hours
