Hungarian speaker, whose name I didn’t catch (and not sure if a government spokesperson) was very critical of the EU there now on @BBCRadio4.

The presenter then asked him if Hungary might be tempted to leave the EU, as the UK is doing.

“No, not a hope” he responded.
The speaker was György Schöpflin, an MEP from Viktor Orban’s Fidesz party.

You can listen to the interview from 00:24 mins in, Brexit questioning from 00:27:30 in. His 1st answer to Q of any prospect of Hungary leaving the EU was: “

“None, zero, zilch”

bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0b…
He didn’t say “not a hope” as I thought in my first tweet above.

I misheard him, he said “not in any way whatsoever” to a question about Nigel Farage inviting Hungary to leave the EU, and said:

“don’t worry, no one will follow the United Kingdom, there will be no other exit”.
