I went to high school with a guy whose cryptic yearbook entry was code for each one of his LSD trips. But he hasn’t been nominated to the Supreme Court.
Kavanaugh’s yearbook entry is in a code his bros understood. He wanted them to remember what kind of guy he was; one of the gang. But it’s not much of a code. It’s easy to figure out. These brahs weren’t worried or ashamed enough to put effort into hiding it.
If, years later, we can still figure it out, just imagine how blatant it was when he graduated high school. It was a leering boast: Look at what I did. Look at what I got away with. Do you get it? Or can you only imagine it and envy it?
